An Analysis of the Ambiguities in E. E. Cummings' Poem.
Engl 102 8-30-05 Analysis-“She’s Being Brand” The poem “She's Being Brand”, written by E.E. Cummings is literally about a driver’s first experience with a car. But it is easily seen the metaphor between the drivers first ride in this vehicle and his first sexual experience.
When you block quote poetry, showing the line breaks is easy because you quote the passage exactly as it appears in the original poem, even when the poet uses unusual spacing. For instance, if you were quoting from e. e. cummings’ poem “she being Brand,” it would appear in this strange format.
E.E. Cummings was a modernist; he wrote about topics that people wouldn’t consider it as “acceptable” but he wrote about because he saw people’s mind set being change and how people were beginning to have an open mind to different things and no longer saw the world in black and white.
